Singapore’s sailors Bernie Chin and Samantha Yom clinch historic gold medals for Singapore at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games.
“The sailing level at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games was fantastic and it was apparent that the sailors who had trained hard and sailed in Bytes frequently had a real competitive advantage. All sailors, especially the Asian sailors and coaches in particular demonstrated great technical knowledge and skills with the boat which will easily be transferable into Olympic level sailing, not only in single handed sailing but the high performance classes. An amazing effort by all sailors and coaches involved.”
